I’m available for a free no-obligation home visit (or phone call) to discuss your needs and I understand that you may even change your mind and decide that it’s not for you after all – which is absolutely fine. I’m quite happy to chat about the sort of event that you may like to hold and can be as hands on or hands off as you wish.
If you decide to go ahead.
If you do decide to go ahead and work with me then my fees will be in line with those I charge for more traditional funerals and memorials. To give you an idea, I charge just over £200 to create and conduct a funeral ceremony. The work involved means that my fees are around £15 – £20 an hour.
Fees for creating your living funeral will depend very much on what you would like to do, how many people will be involved and where you would like to hold it. My involvement could simply be organisational, but I can also offer guidance and experience and support at a potentially difficult time. My involvement on the day of the living funeral itself will also differ from person to person, from not being seen at all, to conducting the entire ceremony or running the event. There are so many variables that it’s impossible to give firm quotes until we’ve had a chance to discuss how I can help. Rest assured, although I charge for my services, I see it as a great honour to be involved in the creation of your event and you may be surprised at how little it costs.
